Woody’s Hockey is a veterans men’s league based out of Westborough, MA.  Woody’s Hockey was formed from the Tribco Hockey team after an unusual win in the Winter of 2007.  Team Woody, while in the locker room reviewing game highlights, decided that a new, fresh outlook on their team had taken form and that it was time to refresh the look, name, feel and spirit of the current team members.  A vote was taken and Woody’s Hockey was born!

The name Woody’s was quickly introduced as quickly as it was decided to refresh the team uniforms.  Based on the Founder and Team Captain, Al Stokes’ woodworking business, appropriately named, Stokes Woodworking, it was  a natural transition to the name Woody’s and then the team worked on the logo design to support this new attitude.

That was it, we nailed it, Woody’s Hockey was born anew.   Now with a team full of Peckers, we are certain to be a force to be reckoned with.
